Seize The Moment! (Logain)

She had just been given an offer; King Logain had offered her a chance to prove her worth as a saiyan warrior. She was tempted to accept his offer...but she might never get a chance to leave ever again. Plus, could she really just forget the humiliating years in which she was stronger than most elites, yet they still seemed to look down on her? It was hardly her fault that her parents were born as low class saiyans. Still...the chance to be an elite was enticing, and the chance to get revenge against Frieza was even more enticing. She frowned hard at the pod in front of her, before turning away from it and heading back inside; she hoped she hadn't made a mistake. For all she knew, Logain was lying through his teeth the entire time, and could really be leading her into a trap, to punish her for treachery, or some other such reason. Still...she couldn't very well just walk away from this offer without at least

So, that was how she was racing through the complex, making her way to the Training Grounds; she had been given a deadline of five minutes. As she was nearing the grounds, she realized something; she was late. About thirty seconds after her five minute deadline, she arrived at the grounds; she wondered if Logain had shown up at all as she approached the area. She had taken her scouter off, handing it to one of the many people around the area as she entered the grounds. She didn't want it to get busted, which was a possibility, even if it was a new model. "King Logain, if you're here, sorry for my tardiness." she called out to the area, casting glances about to see if she could spot the male.

King Logain was resting on a nearby tree with his eyes closed, and his scouter removed. When he heard the female Saiyan call out that she was here, he rose back to his feet and approached the center of the Training Grounds with a look of peace upon his face. You made a good choice, Aerda. Logain commented, twisting his wrist in a circular motion, only to then perform a few stretches to prepare his body. Im glad we can go all out. If either of us get too injured, then we can just go to the healing pods. I hope this Saiyan can prove her worth... Logain thought as he cleared his throat and released his tail. The training grounds was an outside area, far away from most buildings in the area, to ensure that most Saiyans will not bring harm to any of their surroundings aside from the ground. After he cleared his throat, he shifted his gaze towards Aerda's eyes, and sighed, If you can proove yourself worthy... In other words, If I am given a significant challenge, then your treachery will be forgiven, and then you will have the opportunity to help me avenge the Saiyans. If you loose... Logain said, You will be exiled to a planet far away. he said, giving her a slight smile, as he knew this was partially what she wanted, and either outcome, she would be safe from most any harm.

After he said what he had to say, he squeezed his hands tightly and readied his foot work, getting in a Martial Arts position, and began to silently charge his power, with a low hum noise. He didn't charge it very much, for the attack he was planning on using wasn't that spectacular. After about four seconds of doing his low hum, raising his Ki to an amount where his purple aura became visible, he quickly shot his right hand forward, throwing a decent sized Ki-Blast at Aerda, thus beginning the fight.

Aerda was glad to see taht she hadn't been lied to, and she nodded her head to the king as he spoke to her. She wasn't exactly sure if it was the right choice, but at the least, it was a good choice; either of her choices were good, judging by what he just said. If she lost this fight, she would be exiled to a planet; that was the alternative she had wanted. Either way, she would be in the clear, though it would be more dangerous for her if she did put up a good fight. After all, she would go along with Logain to planet Frieza, which probably wouldn't be too friendly to them, not after what Frieza had done to the saiyans. Still, that excited her a bit; danger and the prospect of fighting always seemed to excite a saiyan. She was, in fact, excited right now; she was going up against the King of the saiyans, one of the most powerful saiyans in existence at the moment. As he got into his stance, Aerda did some quick stretching, and within just a short while, she was in a stance similar to his own, copying him. Just like him, her battle power was rising, though at a slower pace; she didn't have as high a battle power as he did, after all. She watched him carefully, and a smirk found its way onto her face as a ki blast raced towards her; it would be an easy attack to best, since it was so basic and simple.

With her high speed, the girl quickly shot upwards into the sky, and once up above the battlefield, she began charging up ki of her own. Several ki blasts shot towards King Logain, and, soon after they were either deflected, they hit, or they missed, she again used her extreme speed to race behind King Logain and send a punch to his stomach. Her tail was still wrapped around her waist, since it could still be a hindrance in battle; for instance, it could still be grabbed, and she could be thrown by it.

Logain smirked to see the lovely combination of ki-blasts, followed by a smart race behind Logain, though before she got to him, Logain rose his left arm and fired a low-powered Ki-Wave, intercepting the bulk of her Ki Blasts, which the rest he discarded with a swipe of his hand. Though she was a bit fast compared to Logain, and had gotten a punch to his back, which was where his stomach would be if he were facing her. Logain could tell this punch wasn't her strongest punch, seeing as most of the impact was absorbed by the Saiyan, but his back took a reasonable amount of damage, however, it was nothing to slow Logain down any at all. With a smirk, he quickly turned around, and faced Aerda, and then did a few backflips to create some distance between the two of them so he could continue with a less-simple form of Ki-Blasts. As he performed his backflips, he thought to himself, A good way to start a battle, no doubt. Let's see how this will turn out..

After a few backflips, which he relied mainly on his strength to do, as he was propelling him back a significant distance each time, and was now about 20 feet away from Aerda, he smirked as he looked up at the sky. At least there is no moon out, so we can't ACCIDENTALLY turn into Great Ape form. If we do so, it will be on purpose. he said , shifting his gaze back to Aerda. He slowly rose his right hand and pointed his first two fingers at Aerda and smirked, Let's see how you do against my Finger Blitz Barrage! he said as multiple bullet-like ki shots fired with tremendous speeds at Aerda. They were much weaker than an average ki blast, however, there were many of them, which could easily do significant damage if one is hit, which is usually likely seeing as there are hundreds of them fired at tremendous speeds, and in this case, there were hundreds of them coming in a large blast at only a 20 foot distance.

((Since Big Bang Attack is much stronger than an attack weaker than a ki blast, I assume it would be okay to assume it automatically swallowed them up, despite Aerda and Logain's difference in ki?))

Just as she expected, Logain wasn't slowed down in the least by her attack; still, she was glad to see that it had been successful. As she watched Logain backflip away from her, she also noted the fact that there was no moon in the sky; that was good. She knew that a true test of strength would be beating him while they were both in their base forms. She watched him warily as he seemed to finish his multiple backflips, and she rose an eyebrow when he spoke; Finger Blitz Barrage? Not liking the sound of that, Aerda quickly began to charge up an attack of her own. The Finger Blitz Barrage, however, was fairly fast, and just before the beams were about to hit her, energy exploded from her, in the form of a Big Bang Attack. The powerful ki attack met with the Barrage, and being much stronger than any single of the beams, it obliterated them, quickly making its way towards King Logain. At the same time, the girl had used her speed once again, flying so that she was above Logain.

She pointed her palm downwards at him, and another Big Bang Attack began to form; this one would be stronger, since it would have more time to charge. After a few seconds, during which time she assumed he dealt with the first Big Bang Attack, the second finished charging. Wherever he was, she would smirk and send the attack his way; if he had dodged the first one, she hoped this second one would hit. She believed that, since it had more ki, it would be able to go faster. Then again, she wasn't too much of an expert; for all she knew, attacks always stayed at the same speeds. As that attack made its way to King Logain, the girl began to charge up her ki, mostly so that she would have reserves to use. She wasn't tired yet, but still, it was always good to be cautious. She often didn't bother to charge up her ki, since the missions that she went on usually didn't require a lot of ki. She again warily watched Logain, waiting to see if her attacks would hit; she was also waiting to see if she would have to defend herself.
